Friendly Relations: Meeting with Luang Prabang Provincial Party Secretary

President U Min Aung Hlaing met with the Secretary of the Luang Prabang Provincial Party Committee Bounleuam Manivong on Sunday.

The two sides discussed cooperation between Myanmar and Laos as strategic partner countries, as well as the sister-city relationship between Luang Prabang and Bagan. They also exchange views on enhancing tourism and people-to-people exchanges between Luang Prabang and Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan, and Kengtung of Myanmar. The two sides further reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral friendship and cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
