Tree Planting Ceremony: Over 200 trees planted at IRD

The Ministry of Planning and Finance held its 2026 monsoon tree-planting ceremony at the Internal Revenue Department in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

Union Minister Dr Kan Zaw, deputy ministers, senior officials and staff took part in the event, planting more than 200 trees, including Gantgaw, Khayay, Padauk and teak. The Union Minister highlighted the importance of tree planting and conservation in addressing climate change, protecting the environment and promoting a greener Myanmar.
