Legislative Study: Speaker meets with Chin State delegation

Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker U Aung Lin Dwe met with a Chin State legislative study delegation led by the Speaker of the Chin State Hluttaw in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

During the meeting, the Speaker discussed the importance of the separation of powers between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches, and the need for constructive coordination between them. He also explained how Myanmar’s state and regional Hluttaws operate based on parliamentary principles.

The delegation is visiting to study the functions and procedures of the Pyidaunsu Hluttaw, Pyithu Hluttaw and Amyotha Hluttaw. They are also scheduled to visit the Yangon and Mandalay regional hluttaws for further learning.
