Parliamentary Relations: President meets with Lao National Assembly Speaker

President U Min Aung Hlaing met with Dr. Saysomphone Phomvihane, Speaker of the Lao National Assembly, in Vientiane on Friday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed strengthening cooperation between Myanmar and Laos, especially between the two governments and parliaments. They also talked about boosting cooperation within ASEAN and supporting each other in regional and international affairs. The President stress to further enhance their strategic partnership and expand cooperation in areas such as development, stability, and parliamentary relations.
