Myanmar Women's Day: Commemorative event held in Yangon

The Myanmar Women's Day ceremony was held at the Myanmar Convention Centre (MCC) in Yangon on Friday.

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu attended the event, together with government officials, students, and invited guests. The event featured opening speeches, a documentary on women's development, and award presentations to outstanding women and winners of a commemorative essay competition. Traditional dance performances were also presented, and officials later viewed exhibition booths marking Myanmar Women's Day.
