Myanmar Women's Day: Traditional fashion displays, music and drama show

A fashion show, cultural performance, and entertainment event was held at the Myanmar International Convention Centre (MICC-I) in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday, to mark Myanmar Women’s Day, which falls on July 3.

The event was organized by the Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation under the supervision of Myanmar National Committee on Women. Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the President and honorary patron of the federation, attended the event, together with the wife of Vice President (1), Vice President Daw Nan Ni Ni Aye, wives of Hluttaw Speakers, senior military officers, government officials and invited guests.

The program featured traditional fashion displays, music performances, and short stage dramas promoting women’s empowerment and awareness against violence. Designers showcased creative Myanmar outfits during the fashion segment.
