Free Medical Services: Over 500 patients received treatment in Pekon

A team of specialist doctors from the Ministry of Health, with support from the Shan State Government, provided free medical services to local residents in Pekon Township. The team, comprising doctors from Sao San Tun General Hospital, the Women and Children Hospital, and the Pekon Township Public Health Department, treated 511 residents free of charge.

Patients included general medicine, eye disease, orthopedic, obstetrics and gynecology cases, as well as surgical, dental, pediatric and mental health cases. In addition, 104 people received vaccinations. Medical examinations, treatments, and medicines were provided free of charge to improve healthcare access for local communities.
