










The Union Minister for Religious Affairs, U Tin Oo Lwin, paid homage Tuesday morning to Aggamahāpaṇḍita Bhaddanta Ñāeyadhammābhivaṃsa Sayadaw, the presiding patron of the Kyakhatwaing Pariyatti Sarthintaik Monastery and also paid homage to the presiding Sayadaw of the Win Nimmitāyon Pariyatti Sarthintaik Monastery in Bago.
He donated copies of the Tipiṭaka and Aṭṭhakathā computer manuscript books as well as offering requisites and other donated items.
Afterwards, he paid homage to the Shwe Tharlyaung Buddha Image and the Shwemawdaw Pagoda. He offered flowers, water, and oil lamps. He then instructed the responsible persons that efforts be undertaken to ensure that the Shwemawdaw Pagoda and its precincts are kept clean, tidy, and worthy of reverence, and that special attention be given to enabling domestic and international pilgrims, to pay homage with peace of mind, it’s reported.
