Relief Supplies : Rebuilding efforts along Mandalay-Myitkyina route

A second convoy carrying relief and reconstruction supplies has arrived in Myitkyina to support rebuilding efforts in towns and villages along the Mandalay–Myitkyina route.

The government is working to restore administrative functions and improve living conditions in areas affected by conflict, while also ensuring access to education, healthcare, and basic services. The convoy includes food, consumer goods, construction materials, medicines, school textbooks, fuel, and fire engines.

It departed from Mandalay on May 22. Officials said the supplies will be distributed to schools, hospitals, and relevant departments in Kachin State. Local authorities and residents welcomed the arrival of the convoy in Myitkyina.
