Military Cooperation : Myanmar delegation visits Belarus

Union Minister for Defence General Tun Aung led a delegation on an official visit to Minsk, Belarus, from May 25 to 30, at the invitation of Belarusian Defence Minister Lt-Gen Viktar Khrenin. During the visit, both sides held talks on strengthening military cooperation between Myanmar and Belarus.

The Myanmar delegation also visited military technology facilities, industrial sites, and textile factories in Belarus. The delegation met with officials from Belarus' military-industrial sector to discuss potential areas of cooperation. General Tun Aung also visited the Myanmar Embassy in Minsk and met with embassy staff and trainees.
