Bilateral Ties: Meeting with the External Affairs Minister

President U Min Aung Hlaing met with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi on Saturday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the friendly relations and growing cooperation between Myanmar and India. They talked about further strengthen bilateral ties and exchanged views on India’s support for Myanmar’s multi-party democratic general election, ongoing development projects, and future cooperation in trade, defence, security, development, and border stability.

In addition, they discussed Myanmar’s political developments, cooperation within ASEAN, and ways to further enhance collaboration in various sectors between the two countries.
