Preparation for Schools Reopening: Chief Minister inspects school cleanup activities

Chief Minister of Rakhine State U Naing Oo, accompanied by concerned officials, on Saturday inspected cleanup activities at basic education schools in Sittwe ahead of the school enrollment week.

Government employees, military personnel, and police officers carried out joint cleaning efforts, including clearing bushes, removing garbage, trimming vegetation, and improving drainage systems. Municipal workers also collected and disposed of waste.

On May 29, the Chief Minister later visited the Nursing Institute (Sittwe) to inspect preparations for the upcoming academic year. He reviewed facilities including the library, computer room, demonstration room, student hostels, and dining hall, and instructed officials to complete necessary improvements before the school opens.
