Official Visit: President arrives in India for official visit

President U Min Aung Hlaing has arrived in India for an official visit at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The President and his high-level delegation departed Nay Pyi Taw earlier on Saturday and were seen off at the airport by senior government officials and diplomats. They arrived at Gaya Airport in India, where they were welcomed by Bihar State officials, Myanmar’s ambassador to India, and military representatives.

During the visit, the President is expected to hold talks with India’s President and Prime Minister, as well as meet government officials and business leaders. Discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in economic, cultural, religious, and social sectors between the two countries.
