Golf Tournament: Nay Pyi Taw Amateur & Junior Open Championship

The Nay Pyi Taw Amateur & Junior Open Championship (Road to Myanmar Junior National Team) Golf Tournament commenced on Friday.

The tournament is organized by the Myanmar Golf Federation under the guidance of the Ministry of Sports as part of the government’s 100-day plan. Union Minister for Sports U Ye Myint Tun attended the opening ceremony, together with Deputy Minister U Nyi Nyi, officials, and Myanmar Golf Federation representatives.

The tournament aims to improve the skills of young golfers, help them compete internationally, and identify talented athletes for the future. A total of 130 players, including 80 amateur golfers and 50 junior players, are taking part in the tournament. The competition will continue for three days from May 29 to 31 at the City Golf Course in Nay Pyi Taw.
