Rehabilitation Efforts : Reconstruction supplies to Chin State

Reconstruction materials and consumer goods were transported to towns in Chin State as part of rehabilitation efforts in conflict-affected areas.

Supplies including cement, roofing sheets, steel materials, household items, kitchen supplies and medical equipment were first airlifted by military aircraft from Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay to Kalay on May 25.

The materials were then transported by trucks from Kalay to Falam on May 26, and additional shipments were sent to Tedim and Tonzang on May 27.

Authorities said the supplies are intended to support reconstruction work for damaged hospitals, schools, government offices and religious buildings affected by armed conflict.Officials added that the remaining supplies will continue to be delivered to affected areas and distributed to local residents based on regional needs.
