MSME Development : Meeting with the MCF Chairman and members

Union Minister for Industry and MSME Development Dr. Charlie Than met with Chairman of Myanmar Computer Federation and party at the Union Minister’s Guest Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Union Minister called for the active participation of the association in Myanmar’s MSME development. He emphasized on raising awareness about the essence and value of MSMEs, official registration of MSME enterprises, acceleration of MSME sector through mobile applications, capacity enhancement of the staff and e-learning platform establishment.

The meeting elaborated on drafting plans to successfully hold the World Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Day which falls on 27th June in line with the framework with the concerted efforts of the MSME agencies across the nations. It also focused on providing assistance to Myanmar nationals abroad to involve in MSME sector.
