










Union Minister for Information U Htein Lin received a delegation led by Ms. Cao Shumin, Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Head of the National Radio and Television Administration on Wednesday morning at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing media cooperation between the two countries, promoting cultural exchanges and friendship between the peoples of both countries, jointly producing documentaries and television series, exchanging creative innovations in youth and technology sectors, and signing memorandums of understanding on media cooperation.
Afterwards, Ms. Cao Shumin and her delegation, together with Union Minister U Htein Lin, visited Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) in Tatkone Township.
They viewed documentary photographs of Myanmar–China media cooperation, observed the recording of the “Happy Learning Chinese” language lessons, watched the filming of Myanmar–China friendship songs in the Virtual Studio, observed news broadcasting operations at the News Channel Studio, and viewed rehearsals of the song “Shan Pae Poke” being sung in both Myanmar and Chinese languages as a symbol of China–Myanmar friendship at the Auditorium Hall.
They also toured the Diamond Jubilee Museum.
