Stellantis to invest €1 billion in electric vehicles in France

French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday announced that Stellantis will "invest over a billion euros in new funding to produce new generations of electric vehicles from 2029 onwards," at its site in Mulhouse, in eastern France.

“This represents a commitment from the other major manufacturer to this strategy: producing EVs in France and introducing new models in the country. France is offering a genuine industrial future to this site in Mulhouse”, Macron added.
