Thai Prime Minister meets French President

The leaders of Thailand and France have agreed to upgrade their bilateral relations to a strategic partnership, pledged to expand economic and security cooperation, a Thai government spokesperson said.

French President Emmanuel Macron hosted a dinner for Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul at the Élysée Palace in Paris on Monday evening, according to government spokesperson Rachada Dhnadirek. The two leaders agreed to boost trade and investment, focusing on high-value industries including alternative energy, aerospace, smart grids, and AI data center infrastructure.
