Work Coordination Meeting: Plans for Chin State rehabilitation and reconstruction

Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee held a work coordination meeting at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement on Saturday.

Union Minister Dr. Soe Win said the President’s Office formed the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee on March 22, chaired by Deputy Minister Dr. Than Soe with 22 members from related ministries.

He instructed officials to conduct field visits in Tonzang, Falam and Tedim townships, form working committees if needed and coordinate rehabilitation efforts with Chin State departments in advance.

The Union Minister also coordinated the requirements based on reports presented by departmental representatives.
