






Union Attorney General and Union Minister for Legal Affairs Dr. Thida Oo inspected pilot model law offices in Yangon Region on Saturday. She visited township law offices in Thaketa, Ahlone, Sanchaung, and Kamayut, as well as Thanlyin district new law office, and met with staff.
The Union Minister explained that pilot law offices are being expanded under a 100-day plan to improve efficiency, professionalism and service delivery. She said the offices aim to shift from manual systems to digital systems, improve legal officers’ skills and ethics, and introduce pre-trial interviews (PTI) to strengthen case handling.
She also stressed better coordination with police, government departments and civil society, and improving the quality and appearance of law offices to support the rule of law and equal access to justice. On Friday, the Union Minister inspected the law offices in Taungoo and Bago.
