Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu announced that the Citizens' Complaints Bureau will begin operations on or before July 26.

Located at the President’s Office, the 24/7 bureau uses AI technology and a digital tracking system to process public grievances and hold government agencies accountable. The system will leverage AI to intelligently sort, route, and track public complaints to the relevant ministries. Citizens will be able to submit grievances 24/7 via phone, letter, email, social media, the Citizens Voice portal, and the GEMS messaging platform.
