Youth Gathering: Ensuring youth participation in nation building tasks

Youth Gathering event held in Kyaukse of Mandalay Region on Thursday. It was jointly organized by Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee and Mandalay Region Youth Affairs Committee.

Vice Chairman of the Central Committee Union Ministry for Youth Affairs Dr Maung Thin made an opening remark, urging the youth force to strive for development of the nation. The Ministry of Youth Affairs was established as a separate ministry in April 2026, aiming to ensure youth participation in nation's development tasks.

The Ministry is tasked to provide informal education opportunities, vocation education, technical support for start-ups and sports activities, with the establishment of Youth Centers across regions and states.
