







Magway Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko and responsible officials met with district and township education officers, school principals and teachers from basic education (High school, middle school, and primary school) levels across five townships, as well as education staff, at No. (2) Basic Education High School in Minbu Township on the afternoon of May 19. During the meeting, the Chief Minister delivered a speech.
During the meeting, Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko explained the state's special efforts for the comprehensive development of the education sector. He urged all stakeholders in education and various segments of society to embrace their national duty and work together to support and fulfill their assigned responsibilities diligently. Specifically, he called for efforts to ensure 100% enrollment of all school-aged children within their school area, to enable teachers and students to carry out teaching and learning activities in a safe, peaceful, and joyful environment, to maintain clean, green, and lush school surroundings, and to nurture well-rounded students with fivefold strengths.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister addressed clarifications and presentations on educational matters from attending officials, providing supplementary guidance where needed. He also distributed free school textbooks, stationery, and school uniforms to the students.
Following that, the Chief Minister and officials visited the No. (1) Oil and Gas Liquefaction Plant in Minbu Township. At the plant's briefing hall, they met with plant staff, listened to officials' presentations on ongoing operations, toured the facility to conduct inspections, and provided necessary guidance and directives, it’s reported.
