Myanmar-China Business Matching: Myanmar delegation attended the event

The Myanmar-China Investment and Trade Promotion Association (MCITP) organized a Myanmar-China Business Matching event on the morning of May 18 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, People's Republic of China.

The ceremony was attended by U Aye Win, Patron of MCITP, U Kyaw Win, Chairman of MCITP; and its executives, along with Myanmar businesspersons. Also in attendance were Mr. Zhang Yu, Deputy Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Party Committee's United Front Work Department, Mr. Sha Liang, Secretary of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as heads of provincial government departments and entrepreneurs from various companies.

At the event, U Aye Win, Patron of the Association, and U Kyaw Win, Chairman of the Association, delivered the speeches of greeting. Speeches were also given by Mr. Zhang Yu, Deputy Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and Mr. Sha Liang, Secretary of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Following this, Dr. Zaw Oo, Advisor to the Association, presented and discussed investment and trade opportunities between Myanmar and China.  As part of the agenda, Myanmar entrepreneurs and Chinese businesspersons from Heilongjiang Province held discussions to explore potential business partnerships and connect on collaborative opportunities.  During the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed for the purchase of 1,000 tons of Sein Ta Lone mangoes and 1,000 tons of rubber from Myanmar by Heilongjiang Province, it’s reported.
