




Chinese state media reported on Wednesday that at least 22 people have died and 20 others are missing across central and southern country following record-breaking torrential rains.
The weave of severe rainfall which began over the weekend in provinces such as Hunan, Guizhou, and Hubei, has resulted in significant property damage and disruption to local infrastructure. Chinese authorities allocated over 150 million yuan in emergency disaster relief funds across the hardest-hit regions to support ongoing search and rescue operations and infrastructure repairs.
