Inspection of Magwe GTH: MOH UM conducted field inspection in Magway

Union Minister for Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, visited Magwe General Teaching Hospital Wednesday morning.

The Union Minister toured and inspected medical wards of the hospital and met with the hospital superintendent, Dr. Nay Lin, professors and senior specialists, assistant doctors and nursing staff, providing guidance on medical treatment and teaching activities and addressing their requests.

Afterwards, the Union Minister and officials went to the University of Medicine (Magwe). At the convocation hall, he met with the rector, faculty members and staff, offering guidance and coordinating necessary support in response to their requests. He then inspected the construction of a recreation center being built by the Ministry of Construction, giving instructions to ensure the building is completed on time with high quality.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister and officials visited the Department of Food and Drug Administration in Magwe Region. He provided necessary guidance based on presentations regarding the status of food and drug inspection activities, and then inspected the laboratory and mobile lab van.

Subsequently, the Union Minister visited the University of Basic Health Sciences (Magway), and the Institute of Nursing (Magway). After touring the facilities, he met warmly with teaching staff and trainees at the MyatPyinnya Hall, providing guidance on operational activities and coordinating necessary support.
