Tour in Shan State: Commander-in-Chief tours in Shan State (South)

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo inspected the completion of the modern housing for war veterans in Aye Thaya of Shan State (South) on Wednesday.

At the briefing hall, the Commander-in-Chief and party heard clarification on the completion status of the housing and future construction process, housing arrangement for veterans, and water and electricity supply conditions. Stating the veterans’ vital role of the Tatmadaw, the Commander in Chief emphasized to provide better commodity services to the veterans and their families, maintaining clean and green environs within the compound.

The Commander in Chief and party later toured the housing compound, visiting the staff welfare shop, and observing the sewing training to the staff family members. Earlier in the morning, the Commander in Chief and party toured around the local battalions in Aye Thaya, Heho and Kalaw Military Stations and cordially met with the family members, providing words of encouragement.
