First-ever Somaliland ambassador to Israel presents his credentials

Somaliland diplomat Mohamed Hagi presented his credentials to Israeli President Isaac Herzog, making him Somaliland's first ambassador to a foreign country. Somaliland broke away from Somalia and declared its independence in 1991, with Israel becoming the first country in the world to recognize it in December of last year.
