Modi arrives in Norway for summit with Nordic countries

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived on Monday in Norway at Oslo Airport, Gardermoen, where he was welcomed by Norway Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre ahead of the 3rd India–Nordic Summit in Oslo. The summit brings together India and the Nordic countries.

The summit discussions are expected to focus on Green transition and renewable energy, Technology and innovation, Digitalization and AI, Blue economy and maritime cooperation, Defense and security, Arctic cooperation and Trade and investment under the India–EFTA agreement. This is Modi’s first official visit to Norway and the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Norway since 1983.
