






Regional development projects are being implemented in three villages in Meiktila District, Mandalay Region, under the government’s 100-day plan. The projects include well drilling, solar-powered water supply systems, brick water ponds, and water tank renovations.
Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Phone Myat and officials inspected ongoing projects in Kan Taung, Hta Mone Kan, and Thapyaywa villages, including 4-inch deep wells, 3,000-gallon brick ponds, and drinking water tank construction works. He instructed to complete the projects on schedule, ensure workplace safety and maintain construction standards.
In Wandwin Township, they inspected the renovation of a deteriorated drinking water tank at Thein Taung Taw Ya Monastery and ongoing well drilling and soil tank renovation works at Ywar Shay Village. The Union Minister and party also inspected a concrete road project on the Pyakkha Yway Mountain Road in Kume Township, Myittha District, which was implemented during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 fiscal years.
