Thousands join Turkish Day Parade in New York

Turkish flags and music filled the streets of New York as thousands gathered for the forty third annual Turkish Day Parade celebrating culture and community. The event brought together members of the Turkish American community from across the United States creating a festive atmosphere marked by pride and unity.

Participants sang the Turkish national anthem, watched traditional mehter performances, and joined folk dances during the celebrations. The mehter unit affiliated with the Ministry of National Defense received strong applause for its performance while Turkish artists and folk groups added to the festive mood with live performances.
