PM Narendra Modi receives warm welcome in Netherlands

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from the Indian community in The Hague as he arrived in the Netherlands on Friday night on the second leg of his five-nation tour. Members of the Indian community gathered outside the Prime Minister’s hotel in The Hague, where they welcomed him with classical and cultural presentations.

Prime Minister Modi also interacted with members of the diaspora and acknowledged their enthusiastic reception. In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi said the visit comes at an important time for India-European Union relations and noted that it offers opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas such as semiconductors, clean energy and water management.
