Dubai's annual art fair opens with free admission

The Middle East's largest annual contemporary art fair opened in Dubai on Friday, drawing galleries and a more local crowd than usual. For the first time in its history, organizers made admission free to the public, featuring over 75 regional and international gallery presentation.

This year, Art Dubai opened a month late after the regional conflict forced the organizers to revise their plans. Nevertheless, the fair received success and featured over 75 presentations spanning Contemporary, Modern, and Digital art from nearly 20 countries.
