India deepens cooperation with Maldives, Russia and Indonesia

Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said that his country is actively deepening its economic and defense ties with the Maldives, Russia, and Indonesia through high-level diplomatic engagements and expanded bilateral agreements.

During the meetings with respective nations, Jaishankar focused on accelerating bilateral trade, advancing negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement and expanding strengthened cooperation within the ASEAN framework.
