Receiving Russian Ambassador: MOFA UM received Ambassador of Russian Federation

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, U Tin Maung Swe received Mr. Iskander Azizov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 14th May.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on preparations for the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit to mark the 35th Anniversary of ASEAN-Russia Relations in 2026 and the advancement of ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership.  Furthermore, they also discussed ways to further strengthen the longstanding friendly relations and intensify cooperation in various sectors between Myanmar and the Russian Federation.
