







"The Nay Pyi Taw Council, Region, and State bodies need to coordinate with the Department of Population under the Ministry of Immigration and Population to compile and register the lists of eligible persons within their respective territories in order to obtain accurate manpower figures.
Arrangements must be made so that those registered can be summoned on a rotational basis." These remarks were made by the Chairman of the Central Committee for Summoning People’s Military Servants, Union Minister for Defence General Tun Aung, at the Meeting No. (2/2026) of the Central Committee held Thursday afternoon at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Defence.
At the meeting, the Central Committee Chairman stated that up to the present day, People’s Military training courses up to Course No. (22), have been completed, and the People’s Military Servants are performing their national defence and security duties commendably.
Among them, as many as 115 individuals have received Gallantry Record Medal, Gallantry Record Certificates, Honorary Certificates, and Commendation Letters from senior leaders. Currently, two People’s Military Service Training Courses are in session.
He further stated that for People’s Military Servants who have completed their service period and performed their duties satisfactorily, arrangements are now being made to provide relevant training and facilitate their employment as government civil servants, overseas workers, company employees, private sector employees, or self-employed workers.
Afterwards, members of the Central Committee for Summoning People’s Military Servants, along with the chairmen of the summoning committees from the Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions, and States, presented suggestions and discussions according to their respective sectors. Necessary coordination was provided, and the meeting concluded with closing remarks, it’s reported.
