Macron arrives in Ethiopia on second stop of African tour

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Wednesday, for his third official visit, marking a key stop on his Africa tour following the Africa–France Summit in Nairobi. Discussions will include focusing on strengthening military, cultural, and economic cooperation, alongside addressing regional security challenges and Ethiopia's quest for sea access.

After his visit in Ethiopia, Macron is scheduled to visit the African Union headquarters to discuss Africa-Europe relations and further strengthen ties in the region.
