Field Inspection Tour: MOS UM conducted field inspection tour

Union Minister for Sports U Ye Myint Tun on Wednesday along with the Speaker of Ayeyawady Region Hluttaw and officials inspected the pilot projects implemented under Football for School Program and designated land area to construct sports stadium in Kyaung Kone Township. 

At the Myo Ma football ground, the Union Minister and party oversaw the training processes of the athletes, practicing football, track and field and Sepak Takraw. In order to enhance the sports sector and to promote physical health and well-being of the entire nation, while nurturing future generation athletes, the Union Minister called for collective efforts of concerned departments and officials to open basic sports courses under various sports categories at basic education schools.

After touring around Kyaung Kone Township Sports Ground, the Union Minister and party inspected the selected area to construct 120 ft length and 90 ft wide sports stadium and instructed for cleaning and greening works around the sports ground to provide better sports facility services to the sports enthusiasts.
