






The ceremony for lime application to improve soil quality and the presentation of Registered Seed (RS) certified seeds to seed-producing farmers was held Wednesday morning at the farmland of farmer U Soe Nyan in Yoe Goe Village, Mawlamyine Township, Mon State.
At the ceremony, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Win Than delivered a speech and presented Registered Seed (RS) certified seeds to farmers who will be cultivating monsoon paddy seed production fields. He then observed the application of lime for soil improvement at the farmland of farmer U Soe Nyan in Yoe Goe Village, met with the farmers, and coordinated and addressed their needs.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister and party inspected the successful raising of 6,000 egg-laying chickens at the poultry farm of U Than Tun Win in Ngan Tay ငန်းတေး Ward, Mawlamyine. They also inspected the successful fish farming operations in the three-acre fish pond of fish farmer U Thet Paing Soe, providing necessary support and assistance as needed, it’s reported.
