Scattering Green Manure: AYA Region CM participated in the event

A ceremony for scattering green manure (Sunn Hemp) was held Wednesday morning at Yelein Village, Wakema Township, Ayeyarwady Region.

The Region Chief Minister, U Aye Kyaw, attended the event along with responsible officials and participated in the natural fertilizer scattering. He met with farmers and discussed various agricultural matters, including the provision of agricultural bank loans, ensuring timely access to fertilizers and fuel, encouraging farmers to produce and use natural fertilizers themselves, and promoting active engagement in farming activities. He also coordinated with relevant authorities to address the issues raised by farmers.

Following this, the Chief Minister and officials visited Taw Win Rice Mill (2) operating with gasifier technology fueled by rice husks. They inspected the purchasing, processing, and production of rice and provided necessary guidance.

Next, the Chief Minister attended the opening ceremony of a new one-story steel-structured school building in (160 ft length and 30 ft width) at Kyonkone Village, Wakema Township, constructed and donated by well-wishers. Together with the well-wishers family, Chief Minister cut the ribbon to officially open the school and inspected the new facility, ensuring that any necessary support was provided.

On the morning of May 12th, the Region Chief Minister and officials attended the 2026 monsoon-season agricultural input loan distribution and Crop insurance ceremony at Ayeya Shwe War Hall of Pathein, held under the Government’s 100-Day Plan. During the event, the Chief Minister delivered opening remarks and distributed monsoon-season crop loans to farmers from five village tracts in Pathein Township.

On the evening of the 11th of May, the Chief Minister attended the 2026 Ayeyarwady Region Chief Minister’s Cup, men’s and women’s volleyball finals and award ceremony at Koe Thein stadioum in Pathein Township. The Chief Minister watched the matches and presented awards and cash prizes to the best players and teams, along with region ministers, it’s reported.
