








The government is inviting members of various armed groups, including the PDF, to return to the legal fold, while providing those who comply with the necessary assistance and support.
A total of 72 DPLA members including 16 males and 40 females, three TNLA male members, and PDF members including 11 males and two females, entered the legal fold on May 11th. These returnees are from Naungcho, Kyaukme and Thipaw townships in Shan State (North), and the handover ceremony took place at the North-East Command Headquarters with the attendance of Commander Maj-Gen Aye Min Oo and other relevant officials.
The returnees signed pledges, and then they were formally handed back to their parents or guardians. Those who intend to rejoin the legal framework are encouraged to promptly contact and report to the nearest Tatmadaw bases or police stations. They will be welcomed and accepted, provided with the necessary assistance and support, and cash rewards for any arms and ammunition.
