French President Macron holds talks with Senegalese President Diomaye Faye

French President Emmanuel Macron met with Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye on Monday on the sidelines of the "Africa Forward" Africa-France summit, in Nairobi, Kenya. 

The main discussions focused on Economic partnership and investment, African sovereignty and equal partnership, reform of international finance, security and regional stability, climate and energy transition, France–Senegal relations. The summit is a major diplomatic and economic gathering co-hosted by France and Kenya, bringing together more than 30 African leaders, financial institutions, investors, and business executives.
