Humanoid robots engage in full tea-making process

Humanoid robots took on a challenge of working throughout the process of tea-making in east China’s Fujian Province on Sunday as part of a promotion campaign for the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games in August.

After one week of training, robots that participated in the humanoid robot half-marathon in Beijing in April came to a tea production base in Fujiang to work alongside humans on leaves picking, transportation, withering, roasting, and cake pressing. This marked the first time humanoid robots tested their training results in an actual tea production environment. Despite repeated failures, the humanoid robots ultimately finished their designated tasks.
