National Leader inspects progress on equine complex modernization

Turkmen Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the reconstruction of the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan in the Kopetdag foothills.

Technologies used for the first time in the region are being implemented to care for the “winged horses.” The large-scale modernization of the complex begins right from the access road. The track is being laid using a technology new to the region.

The track consists of ten layers, and a smart drainage system effectively drains any precipitation. While inspecting the grounds, the National Leader of the Turkmen People instructed that special attention be paid to spectator comfort: the stands are being rebuilt to provide equestrian enthusiasts with an ideal panoramic view of the races.
