Camp Closing Event: Successful completion of Inle Kaung Daing Luyechun Camp

A dinner reception and Closing Ceremony of 2026 Inle Kaung Daing Luyechun Camp was held in Nyaung Shwe Township on 9th May with the attendance of Ethnic Affairs Minister U Than Maung, Shan State Chief Minister, officials and outstanding stundents.

At the event, Chief Minsiter U Sai Htein Soe urged the Luyechun students to try their best for becoming individuals, contributing to the betterment of the nation, having equipped with the intellectual and intelligentsia.

Then, the Chief Minister presented Crystal trophy and ethnic traditional attires to students and supervisors. On behalf of the Luyeechun students, a student expressed words of thanks. This was followed by the honorary dinner, along with the performance of songs and dances by the local artists and students.

Later, Union Minister U Than Maung, Chairman of Central Committee for Luyechun (1964-1988) and officials presented commemorative gifts to the Shan State Chief Minister and the State Social Affairs Minister.

Inle Khaung Daing Camp hosted a group of 132 Luyechun outstanding youths, aiming to help youths gain regional knowledge and practical experience through peer learning and shared experiences.

During their camping period, the group were provided with valuable hands-on learning, through peer-to-peer exchange, and deepening understanding of the social, cultural, and economic life of local community.
