Pope Leo meets Inter Milan executives and soccer players

On Saturday morning Pope Leo XIV received Inter Milan executives and soccer players in private audience at the Vatican Apostolic Palace, following their 2025–2026 league title victory.

Pope Leo congratulated the newly crowned Champions of Italy, winners of their 21st league title last Sunday. He also emphasized the responsibility that their success entails. Pope Leo urged them to be witnesses to values because they have an impact on young people which can be either positive or negative.
