Tin Hau Festival parade held in Yuen Long, Hong Kong

The 2026 Tin Hau Festival parade, featuring a massive, traditional parade, held in Yuen Long, Hong Kong on Saturday. This major celebration, highlighting the birthday of the Goddess of the Sea, features colorful floral tributes and vibrant dragon and lion dances.

During the festival, a 38-meter-long golden dragon was participated, symbolizing wishes for prosperity and good health. The annual Tin Hau Festival is celebrated on the 23rd day of the third lunar monthsince 1963 to pray for favorable weather and abundant harvests.
