Irrigation Facility: Construction of Sin Lan (2) Dam in Pyin Oo Lwin

The Sin Lan (2) Dam project is under construction near Sin Phyu Inn Village in Pyin Oo Lwin to support drinking water supply and irrigation needs in the township.

During an inspection on May 8, Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung and Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung reviewed the project’s implementation and instructed officials to ensure workplace safety and timely completion in line with prescribed standards.

The project aims to provide one million gallons of water through the Yin Thar Ma Diversion Weir to Yadanapon Myo Thit and meet future water demand in wards 9, 16, 17 and 18 of Pyin Oo Lwin Township, while also supporting irrigation along Sin Lan Creek.
