On visit to Angola, Oligui calls on investors to visit Gabon

During a visit to Angola, Gabon’s president Brice Oligui Nguema attended a business roundtable aimed at encouraging investment between the two countries. Officials highlighted recent reforms in Gabon, including updates to the mining and petroleum codes, and outlined investment opportunities through public-private partnerships (PPP) or build-operate-transfer (BOT) models.

An informal process between the chambers of commerce of both countries is underway, with a formal agreement expected in the near future. Several top-tier companies, including energy and construction firms, are being considered to launch projects in Gabon, with follow-up meetings planned to finalize investments.
